In Memory of educator Michelle “Shelley” Magnus, I worked with Belding Elementary students to create an 18 foot mural recognizing Ms. Magnus’ contribution to the Belding community.

The mural symbolizes the spirit and character of Ms. Magnus.

Beginning in February, students contributed ideas for the project. A group of students was assembled to create the painted mural on canvas panels. Completed in June, we hung the mural in the hallway across from Ms. Magnus’ former third floor classroom.
